Website Design
Logo/Identity Design
This was the second year in a row we had the privilege of working on the brand and website, with the goal of creating something that spoke to the quintessential WordPress developer. Everything about the new identity was a salute to developer culture.
Color Palette
The dark gray is reminiscent of a background color in a dev console where developers spend hours staring at the screen and want to avoid the harsh contrast associated with white text on solid black. The bright green is a throwback to old school disk operating systems (DOS).
Typography
The monospaced font was another nod to dev consoles and code environments, while the logo takes cues from bitmap fonts, but with rounded corners for a softer, modern touch.
LoopConf Round
After the logo was finalized, I created a custom font to use for the headings on the wesbite.

These were landing page ideas to collect emails prior to launch of the full event website.
